My travel companion Sarah and I have planned a great trip away for 4 weeks .
MAY 2013 .
1st STOP SINGAPORE
..a few days on Santosa .We had a lovely time we visited the Night Zoo, Gardens by The Bay , The Sea Aquarium and Universal Studio's our hotel was amazing and right across from the Studios and The Merlion .
2nd STOP LONDON
THE NATIONAL DOGS SHOW UK

we were both so excited to be able to catch up with fellow Ridgeback owners and breeders in the UK . and of course to see lots and lots of wonderful Ridgebacks .Thankyou to Kim Hodge for offering to look after us and attend the show together .
Wonderful to spend time with Kim and Linda we had a wonderful day lots of laughs and maybe a few tears ..
Kim's Mum was a delight and Sarah and I are planning to go back to see everyone soon .

Kim ,Aly, Jackie, Sarah,Kims Mum ,Karen me,Cary and Linda .
Things happen for a reason ,while Karen wasn't able to run her boy Duke for the breed classes Sarah took over ,taking DCC and then Best Of Breed
Then into the group ring 1300 Hounds and they took GROUP FIRST ..
Everyone gathered together on the Sunday to cheer them on it was a wonderful experience ..

Sarah has never been to London so she has left everything to me as I have been several times ,I booked a hotel 10 mins from the palace .We went sight seeing most days Windsor Castle ,Bath and Stone Henge. Tower Of London and two days on the Red bus .
We were very lucky because the first day in London was opening of Parliament so we were had front row at the Palace as the Royal Coaches came passed .
On our last night in London I booked tickets to Phantom Of The Opera ..
3RD STOP
WORLD DOG SHOW IN BUDAPEST 2013
We were so looking forward to seeing what the ridgebacks are like from all these Countries .Well I wasn't disappointed the dogs I saw were very nice I was struck by the Russian dogs so much breed type and ring presents .Wonderful to catch up with so many people from Facebook the language may have been a bit of a problem but we all got on famously .
We were welcomed with open arms and it was a great pleasure to see so many different dog breeds ,we spent time getting to know them .
Fantastic to meet Kitka from The European Ridgeback magazine to understand the judging and the show catalogue. Considering the Ridgebacks were judged in 3 Rings It was a bit difficult to watch everything . Thankyou ladies for offering to be our guides .

Spending the day at the first Gundog with Melanie and Ollie from Germany introduced us to more Ridgeback breeders .Ridgebacks being judged by Breed Specialist Monika Tušanová .

It was lovely to meet her after she judged .
On the day the Ridgebacks took out Baby In show ,Brace In show and Best Breeders team .
Sarah and I took in the sights of Budapest it was a lovely trip and the weather was so nice .We had trip on the river and a spot of sightseeing and of course lots of catching up !
Having heard that Budapest had a zoo and a new litter of 5 lion cubs Sarah and I spend a lovely afternoon around the Zoo .

Managed to buy on of the Ridgeback Jackets I had my eye on too .

I have planned everything we are staying 10 days so I can have full rest days in-between .Sarah had never been so I was happy to become tourist guide .Our hotel was two streets away from the tower .
